whilst in bed on saturday I told him I love him.

liam arrived friday afternoonish and we scooted out to the cinema in time for the seven pm showing of king kong to do the trailers checks at 7, 8 and 9 - we got to stay for the 9pm showing so didnt actually get home til about 1am. its a pretty good film but it really could do with some editing in the middle esp the bit with the giant insects. hmmm. and some attention to detail on the long shots with kong and ann. but hey - am I a hollywood director - no. so shutup.

saturday we literally stayed in bed ALL DAY. liam didnt even get up to wee until almost 4pm!

sunday we were up at the crack of birdfart to go to london - we wandered through petticoat lane market and had breakfast - met up with esther and wandered round spitalfields market then went to the natural history museum and met up with gavin and went to look at dinosaurs then liam and I went to the wildlife photographer of the year exhibition for free courtesy of y friend pauline who works for BP and got me a free pass, we headed back to the city area and checked in to our hotel had a lay down (ahem) and then went to brick lane for a curry. Monday we met up with carla then went into the west end for pizza and went to see march of the penguins for free at hte vue cinema in the west end courtesy of my friend pete. we popped into the national portrait gallery and saw part of the photography exhibition then we went to trafalgar square and took some pictures of the tree and the fountains. we made it back to liverpool street station in time to see the crowded concourse sea of people and headed to the sausage and mash cafe before getting on our train home - liam was in bed and asleep by about half nine then up at half three this morning to head of to his last day of work before christmas.

he's back here thursday night or friday morning for a couple of days. :)
