busy!

I had a great weekend. Liam arrived about half seven friday night and we had spag bol that i had made - I couldnt eat much of it cos of my tummy troubles but I had enough to keep me going at least :). Lots of snogs and hugs and strokes and cuddles - he's a good boy.

Saturday we went to london for adventures - we walked from liverpool street through houndsditch and st mary axe, past the baltic exchange, former CU building and lloyds, thru leadenhall market, along past SCB and XLre, past the monument and over london bridge, to guys and the old operating theatre museum, round to borough market (mmmmmmmmmmmmmm food samples galore!) then back along to tooley street where we went to the britain at war experience (my advice is dont pay full price and dont queue to get in!), then we got the tube to green park where we walked along piccadilly to the circus and eros then along regent street to carnaby street (via a few craft markets and side street along the way) then back through soho, old compton street (via the slug and lettuce) and china town and leicester square to the portrait gallery and trafalgar square and the fourth plinth discussion was had, along the strand to coventgarden and a bit of street theatre and another market then along the strand again past the old bailey (having had the discussions about all the different belss in the nursery rhyme) down to fleet street and almost to st pauls onto a bus, back to liverpool street and on a train home. tired and happy. with pizza for dinner :)

we watched the film brazil in bed sat nught and sunday morning and then went off to a huge book sale sunday late morning / early afternoon and got home in time to meet up with colin and jo who came to visit - liam had to dash off at about two but at least got to say hello to them which was good :) I see a lot of similarities between him and col - not least height! makes sense and jo and i have a lot in common. we three and mum then went to nandos and had a wonderful meal and chat which was great that jo didnt get in a visable stress about the food at all and we were able to check the sugar content in everything she ate which was great - her treatment earlier in the year has resulted in her being unable to eat flour or sugar as they are the triggers for her condition. funny innit?

then we all piled back to the flat and sat and gossiped more.

liam was in touch most of last night and we had a phne call fairly late on when he was drunk - stoopid boy ;) he has arranged some sort of "surprise" for me today which is due to be delivered before 1pm. I dont like surprises and anticipation but I am intrigued. on and he also left me a note under my duvet saying how much he is gonna miss me next weekend (we're not gonna get to meet up :( ) and also saying how he'd had a lovely weekend. he really is a good lad. I am very lucky :)
